How we would prefer the artwork to be sent:
We can accept the file via --
Email (badge@nicebadge.com)
On 3.5” floppy disk
ZIP disk
CDROM or DVD
FTP upload
The following types of files are in the order that we
prefer:
CDR or CMX – Corel Draw files –
up to version 13
AI – Adobe Illustrator –
up to version 11
EPS – Saved in EPS format from
most graphic programs
PS, EPS, or PRN – Types of EPS
files
PDF – Adobe Portable Document Format
CPT – Corel Photo-Paint Image –
up to version 13
PSD – Adobe Photoshop Image
TIF -- The higher the resolution the
better
JPG – The higher the resolution
the better
GIF -- The higher the resolution the
better
Most Preferred - The original
computer-generated artwork. The graphics program that was
used to create the artwork will save it in it’s own
file format – that is what we want.
A few final notes –
We prefer vector files to rastor files.
We should be able to open up just about any file format
that is sent to us.
We are PC based, but we can convert and open most Mac
files.
When saving graphics files, if given the choice please
convert the text to curves.
If all that is available is “camera ready”
artwork, we would prefer it crisp, clean black type and
artwork on white paper.
If you not have access to any of the above, we can scan
and re-create your logo from a business card, web site
or ?? The charge for this is $40 an hour.
We will also be happy to create a logo for you from scratch;
the charge for this will be $150 on up depending on the
time that it takes.
If we are dealing with specific colors for your logos,
we would like to see an actual color on paper or a PMS
number(s) (Pantone Matching System). We can go off of
your web site or email, but it may vary some depending
on how the different monitors display the colors.
